Membership in CECTH

CECTH is a membership-driven non-profit organization.  A variety of membership levels are offered to meet the needs and expectations of everyone involved in equine assisted activities and therapy (EAAT).  Click on the membership level below for a detailed description.  The CECTH membership year is January 1 to December 31.

Individual Membership - $50

The Individual Member will receive all notifications and updates through the Council office and receive member rates for all conferences, seminars and activities.  Participants in the Qualified Instructor Training Program (QI) must maintain their Individual memberships.  All QInstructors must maintain their Individual memberships. PLEASE SEE THE QI MEMBERSHIP FORM TO RENEW QI MEMBERSHIPS - DO NOT USE THE INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP FORM.

LIFE Individual Membership - $500

The LIFE Individual Member will receive all notifications and updates through the Council office and receive member rates for all conferences, seminars and activities.  The LIFE Member will receive yearly membership updates to ensure the accuracy of their information, however, no fee is charged to renew (even if the membership rate increases).  A LIFE membership is not transferable.

Center Membership - $75

The Center Member will receive all notifications and updates through the Council office, are listed on the CECTH website, and will be contacted with all relevant referrals.  In addition, Centers receive one (1) current-year Individual membership** ($40 value),
**The Individual membership is not-transferable within the current membership year.  If the designated Individual Member is a QInstructor, they are still responsible for the additional QInstructor fee ($10).

LIFE Center Membership - $500

 The Center Member will receive all notifications and updates through the Council office, are listed on the CECTH website, and will be contacted with all relevant referrals.  In addition, Centers receive one (1) non-transferable LIFE Individual membership** ($400 value).
**The LIFE Individual membership is not-transferable.  If the designated Individual Member is a QInstructor, they are still responsible for the additional yearly QInstructor fee ($10).

Q-Instructor Membership - $60

All Pennsylvania Qualified Instructor (QI) Members must maintain their yearly Individual membership AND their QI fee.  QInstructors receive all of the benefits of an Individual membership and are listed on the PACTH website.  QInstructors will also receive the CECTH logo for inclusion on professional cards and publications.** Individual ($50) + $10 QI Fees = $60

**Only QInstructors (denotes successful completion of Phases I, II AND III) may use the CECTH logo.

Student Membership - $40

A Student Member is currently a high school or college/university student.  The Student member will receive all notifications and updates through the Council office and receive member rates for all conferences, seminars and activities.  Student Members must supply a copy of their current student ID with their membership application.
